Aboriginal Children’s Services Meetings

ARMSU holds Statewide Aboriginal Children’s Services Meetings over 2 days x 3 times each year, at city and country locations.

Directors of all the services supported by ARMSU attend these meetings. Often they bring staff and / or committee members too.

The meetings are a mixture of formal training sessions, guest speakers, news and information sharing and occasional visits to local services.

The purpose of the meetings is to give Directors and others access to professional development, support and information presented within a culturally aware context.

Often, the meetings are also opportunities for professional development for the presenters and speakers too, as they learn from their audience.
